All passports (apart from British Overseas Territories (St. Helena) passports) regardless of the country of issue are required to have an expiry date 6 months after the date of arrival.
Note to St. Helenian status holders:
St. Helenian status holders do not require a visa to travel to St. Helena however you may be asked to provide evidence of your status at airport check in desks and/or on arrival at St. Helena border control. If you are a St. Helenian status holder, a UK or St. Helenian issued passport is usually sufficient evidence of status however if the passport you are travelling on was issued by another country you should contact the immigration service in St. Helena prior to travel for advice.
